SAVE Advising:

Our SAVE Advising program is designed to help you implement comprehensive violence reduction strategies efficiently and affordably. Using our 12 month Build – Train – Advise model, our expert advisors will help your city or county to:

Build a SAVE Executive Board, SAVE Unit, and CVI program to address gun violence proactively. These essential pieces of specialized infrastructure underpin SAVE, making sure its enforcement, service, and governance activities are executed effectively.

Train all SAVE personnel through our tested, efficient training process, equipping them to carry out the strategy. Our trainers and advisors are experienced police officers and violence reduction consultants who are skilled project managers and adult educators.

Advise all SAVE personnel through virtual technical advising every other week on SAVE strategy implementation and performance evaluation. We use tailored key performance indicators to address issues before they become crises, and draw on our expertise to turn problems into progress.

SAVE Advising costs only $97,398 for our 12 month training and technical assistance program. Focused deterrence based strategies have shown up to a 60% reduction in gun violence, reducing the financial strain of gun violence on city and county budgets.

SAVE is designed to interrupt cycles of retaliatory gun violence before they spin out of control. Combining support and accountability, SAVE helps connect likely retaliators to services and deters further violence through strategic enforcement.

SAVE combines strategic enforcement with specialized social service programs and local government oversight to facilitate accountability, support and effective strategic management.

Focused:

SAVE focuses on the less than 1% of people most likely to shoot or be shot. Through careful intelligence analysis, SAVE helps police and social services deploy their limited resources most efficiently.
